Honey Creek Woodlands Chapel

About the Project
Stability provided engineering and consultation for a masonry and heavy timber chapel for the Honey Creek Woodlands area on the grounds of the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. The chapel features a 43’ masonry bell tower and hand crafted, rough sawn timber frames over an ‘open’ sanctuary. The custom crafted masonry work, by artisan and contractor Clay Chapman, utilizes old world techniques designed to be aesthetically pleasing as well as to last for many years. Honey Creek Woodlands is a conservation burial ground that offers spaces for natural burial and for cremated remains.
