Capitol View

This project won a 2023 Atlanta Design Award of Excellence in the Historic Preservation category.

The Capitol View apartment complex, located in historic Adair Park and convenient to the Beltline, was originally built in 1947 through the FHA’s Veterans Emergency Housing Program. Due to severely deferred maintenance and modifications, extensive work was needed to bring the property back to occupiable use, including a complete re-work of all joists and a new retaining wall. A new wood-framed leasing office / clubhouse was also added.
