Stability Engineering provided design and construction oversight for the adaptive re-use of a former cotton gin barn into a brew pub. The existing steel-framed barn with metal siding was retained for historical tax credits, with supplemental steel reinforcing members added to the frame to bring the building up to current code requirements for occupancy. Other structural features included bar and brewery equipment supports, interior mezzanine with wood and steel framing, exterior patios and new and repaired awnings.
