Stone Summit Climbing Wall

Stability has provided structural engineering for two Stone Summit locations. For the Presidential Parkway location, we provided engineering for the 65 ft tall structural steel pre-engineered building which houses the largest climbing wall facility in the U.S. The climbing walls, designed by Walltopia, are vertically and laterally supported by the building, which also features a structural steel mezzanine and pier supported footings. For the midtown location, we provided an engineering calculation for the support of a Walltopia climbing wall. The analysis necessitated the creation of a structural model of the steel frame, analysis of the structural steel members and design of anchors to walls and structural slab.
