This project was honored with a Community Design Award from the City of Atlanta’s Urban Design Commission in 2025.
Bringing new life to an existing one-story wood-framed restaurant, this renovation includes the addition of a new outdoor patio supported by poles and heavy timber framing. Scope also includes modifications to the existing mansard roof and the installation of a new green roof system. Structural upgrades involve alterations to the lateral force-resisting system, including the addition of new shear walls and cross-bracing to improve overall stability.
