Sabine Woman

Stability designed the foundation support for the steel sculpture Sabine Woman by artist and gallery owner Dorothy Berge. Originally commissioned for the Colony Square property in 1968, the sculpture is an abstract depiction of a woman from Roman mythology and was placed in its current location at Peachtree and 15^th Streets in 2021. We surveyed and analyzed this 28’ foot tall art piece in order to design the footing support and anchorage to accommodate it.  #stablityengineering.
