This project was recognized on the Atlanta Design Festival Architectural Tour in 2023.

We’re thankful to have been a part of the team for this 3-level, 6500sf modern home adjacent to Wildwood Park in the Morningside area of Atlanta. We provided full structural design including a 3D structural analysis using RISA 3D for the extreme 21’ steel-framed cantilevered section over the patio and saltwater pool. This provided interesting challenges with the steel frame and connections due to the cantilever framing, tie-back system, and lateral moment frames, creating quite the balance between structural performance and architectural constraints. In addition to the main cantilever focal point, this house also features floor to ceiling glass window walls, 2-story vaulted space, floating steel stair stringers and other custom details.
