Stability Engineering provided structural design and construction drawings for this extensive Assisted Living and Memory Care building that includes multiple one- and two-story wings. The building construction consisted of wood roof trusses, load bearing CMU walls, and pre-cast hollowcore concrete floors, over shallow foundations and slab on grade. The interior amenities include a 20’ clerestory dining room with an exterior wall of windows, and a theater room. The buildings, located in Englewood, Florida, were structurally designed and constructed to accommodate for hurricane force wind resistance and long-term durability.
