About the Project

Stability Engineering provided structural design and construction oversight for the new three-building amenity site at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Building #1 is a 13,000sf restaurant building with custom steel- and wood-framed components, including a steel-framed clerestory monitor over the main dining room with custom steel gable trusses and steel-framed roof overhangs and bar wall supports with coordinated timber-framed accents, as well as a custom timber-framed entry portico and wood-framed roof well to house mechanical units over the kitchen. Building #2 is an 18,000sf spa and fitness amenities center, including custom timber-framed fitness wing with expansive glass gable end walls and exposed interior timber trusses. The spa wing is framed with accommodation of additional MEP equipment for saunas.
