Olive & Pine is a mixed use development located just blocks from the Avondale Estates town green, and occupies a former industrial complex of Mann Mechanical, an innovator in the field of mechanical systems for over 50 years.

Existing office and warehouse spaces were extensively redesigned to convert to restaurant, commercial, and office spaces. In the building’s long history, many of the existing structural elements had been damaged or constructed in an unconventional, structurally questionable manner. Stability provided design for new architectural features, and also re-routed loads, stiffened steel, and added new steel beams. Existing masonry walls were repaired or rebuilt with new penetrations, and design was provided for steel store front wall support and concrete ramps and stairs.

Avondale Estates was named the country’s best small-town beer scene in 2021 by USA Today 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards, and Olive & Pine is a terrific addition to the growing downtown scene.
