MeSun Nursing and Rehab

We provided structural design and construction documents for a new two-story (with partial basement) nursing home and rehabilitation center, approximately 41,200sf, Type II non-combustible construction. Design included concrete basement walls and slab on grade first floor, with second floor and roof construction using steel bar joists bearing on light gauge walls and steel post/beam. The second floor bar joists utilized Ecospan screw studs by Vulcraft to maximize efficiency in the joist spans and create a composite concrete deck.
