Georgia Avenue

Stability Engineering provided the oversight and design for several buildings on Georgia Avenue adjacent to Turner Field. Each of the buildings was assessed for feasibility of rehabilitation and potential use for additional square footage including basement digouts, roof top decks, and building additions. All of the buildings were designed simultaneously to keep similar designs throughout and to maximize usability for potential tenants. Construction varied from new wood construction to rehabilitation of multiwythe brick masonry and custom steel framing. Stability also assisted in the design of retaining walls throughout the development for shared patios between non connected buildings.
