Carrollton Greenbelt

The Carrollton Greenbelt is an 18-mile trail system creating a loop around the City of Carrollton, connecting the University of West Georgia, city parks, commercial areas, and surrounding neighborhoods. We provided structural design for the many bridges, boardwalks, and retaining walls, as well as a railroad underpass and a culvert under a roadway. Each trail segment provided unique design challenges, and we worked alongside a brilliant design team to come up with attractive and cost-effective solutions to those challenges. It was rewarding to see our work come to life during the fast-paced construction schedule and to see the trail open to the public far quicker than similar trail systems.
