This project was recognized on the Atlanta Design Festival Architectural Tour in 2024.
Described as a Japan inspired building with a mix of Scandinavian flavors, Winton Flats is situated on a quiet residential street in the historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta, two blocks south of Ponce City market and walking distance from the Atlanta Beltline.
We provided the structural design and construction documents for this 8-unit steel-framed multi-family building with drive-under parking. This is the first project submitted in the City of Atlanta for the zoning category called the Missing Middle, the goal of which is to increase attainable middle-income homes for a more diverse neighborhood.
