Rockdale River Trail – Phase F

The Rockdale River Trail project is an ongoing greenway/multiuse trail project in Rockdale County following the South River from the DeKalb County line to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. The trail, when complete, will connect Arabia Mountain and Panola Mountain State Park to the Monastery, giving users miles of scenic paved trail with little traffic interaction. For Phase F, Stability Engineering designed the foundations for a steel-framed bridge 120ft long that spans across State Route 212 (Brown’s Mill Road). The foundation design required coordination with the bridge supplier and the Georgia DOT to accommodate minimum road clearance.
