Open Hand

Open Hand outgrew its current kitchen and office space and decided to expand into the neighboring building directly behind the current site. The two building properties back up to each other, however the buildings are approximately 50ft apart and are separated by an abandoned railway line. Stability Engineering was employed to design a connector between the two buildings, while maintaining structural independence across the property line. Stability Engineering also performed analysis and provided construction drawings for renovations to the new space. The new building will house a large new office space and expands the cooler, storage, and packaging operation for Open Hand’s food service.
