Ashford Park Clubhouse

Stability Engineering provided structural design and construction documents for the two-story clubhouse and leasing office at Ashford Park in Buckhead.  Structural features included concrete basement walls and basement slab on grade with wood-framed floor spanning over the lower level of the clubhouse.  Above the upper level leasing office, the roof is framed with pre-manufactured wood roof trusses using scissor trusses to achieve vaulted areas and complicated roof geometry that required heavy coordination between structural design and truss manufacturing.  Other features included the open stairwell, balconies, and detached pool bath house building.
