Pierre Coiron


Pierre’s twenty years of experience in construction and engineering include municipal and religious facilities, single and multi-family residential projects, retail buildings, heavy industrial facilities, pulp and paper mills, and manufacturing and power facilities.  Beyond field engineering, Pierre oversees the company’s staffing and training, and he manages communication and coordination with clients and contractors.  Under Pierre’s management, Stability Engineering has completed over 1,500 projects in Georgia and throughout the southeast.

Pierre holds Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Engineering and Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Loyola University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.  He is also a LEED accredited professional.

Allen Morris


Allen began working at Stability Engineering as an intern during college, then as a project engineer in 2006, later becoming project manager, and most recently serving as Associate Principal.  His design experience includes structural design for residential projects both single family and multi-family, office buildings, restaurants, retail buildings, adaptive-reuse projects, art installations, and historic preservation projects.  Building material types include steel, wood, masonry construction, and tilt-up, cast-in-place, and post-tension concrete.  Allen enjoys working closely with clients in order to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions to structural design challenges.   Allen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mercer University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina.

Yan Sun


Yan supplies extensive knowledge derived from her 10+ years experience in the structural engineering profession. Her expertise in steel and industrial structures provides the company with substantial analytical and design capabilities. Yan also has experience with reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, wood and masonry construction, as well as in-depth seismic assessment of government projects. Yan takes pride in her thorough approach and seeing projects through to completion. Yan holds a Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from TongJi University.

Chris Murphy


Chris has served as staff and field engineer on many projects during his six years at Stability Engineering, including residential, commercial, municipal, adaptive reuse, and historical preservation projects. His previous experience with project management benefits Stability’s ability to work with contractors and resolve on-site circumstances. He has experience with wood, masonry, steel, and cast-in-place and tilt-up concrete, as well as non-destructive testing of existing structures. Chris prides himself on finding creative solutions to engineering problems and working alongside clients to achieve effective building designs. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.

James Breeden


James has worked with Stability Engineering since 2012, starting as an intern in college, transitioning to a project engineer after graduation, and is now a project manager. As a project manager he has led the design for seven of the buildings in the downtown Duluth Parsons Ally development, twelve buildings in the Georgia Avenue development, and the recent renovation at Underground Atlanta for the Masquerade venue. His design experience includes both single and multi-family residential, commercial including existing modification and new design, adaptive re-use with a concentration on historic masonry buildings and historic preservation, and chain restaurant design and review. James works closely with both architects and contractors in the design phase of projects to coordinate the construction feasibility and pricing for the desired design layout. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

Josh Stevenson


Josh has served as a project engineer on a mixture of project types in his time at Stability, with experience in large new-construction projects utilizing large-scale modeling, moderate sized single-family new-construction and renovation projects, as well as smaller adaptive reuse projects involving steel, wood, masonry, and concrete. Josh takes pride in his dedicated work ethic and is always seeking opportunities to find creative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.  Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia.

Justin Downey


Justin has served as a project and field engineer in his four years with Stability.  He has experience in conventional and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, wood, steel, and light gauge design and has worked on a wide variety of projects from large post-tensioned concrete podiums and commercial adaptive reuse to trail bridges and new residential construction.  Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where he worked with a team researching bridge rehabilitation.

Matt Smith


Matthew has served as a project and field engineer at Stability Engineering since 2013, where his primary role has been  the design of both single and multi-family residential structures, as well as design and development for various multi-use trails within the state of Georgia.  He also has experience working on many other project types; including design of commercial structures, modifications to existing structures, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University where he graduated cum laude in the spring of 2015. 

Jacob Jeffcoat


Jacob graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Before his start with Stability, he completed an internship in the construction/project management field. In addition to working for the company during his senior year, Jacob was an active member of the school’s ACI and ASCE chapters. During his time at Stability, Jacob has assisted with a variety of projects, and he is eager to continue developing his skills with the company.

Jordan Hunt


Jordan graduated in 2017 from the Georgia Institute of Technology with Highest Honors and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. During his time at Tech, he gained international experience studying at Georgia Tech-Lorraine in Metz, France as well as Delft University of Technology in Delft, Netherlands. He also spent two years as a cooperative student working as a structural engineering associate in the telecommunications field where he performed structural analyses on various types of steel telecommunications towers. During his time with Stability Engineering, Jordan has gained experience designing single- and multi-family residential structures and commercial structures as well as renovating existing structures using wood, masonry, concrete, and steel design.

Bob Englehart


Bob graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University in 2013. During his time at Kennesaw, he was involved in the steel bridge competition for two years, one year as captain. Bob joined Stability in 2017 as a structural engineer. His primary role has been in single-family additions and rehabilitations of historic structures, as well as hotels and commercial projects. Prior to his time at Stability, Bob has over 10 years of experience as a carpenter/handyman, and worked as a project engineer in telecom and a structural detailer in a concrete formwork and shoring company.

Ivana Kristic


Ivana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mostar, as well as Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering from University of Split, graduating summa cum laude with the President’s Distinguished Scholar Award. Before joining Stability Engineering, Ivana worked on many projects that have helped her to learn and grow as an engineer, including work with concrete, wood, masonry, and steel members, as well as non-destructive field testing.

Brad Beadles


Brad joined the Stability team in early 2019 and serves as a project engineer on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, historic and adaptive re-use. He graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University in 2013 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Structural Emphasis. Brad is experienced in designing residential gravity and lateral load systems with framing elements including wood, concrete, masonry and steel..

Roth Hessler


Roth graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2019. During his time on campus, Roth competed with the ASCE Steel Bridge Team and worked as a Supplemental Instructor for Engineering Statics and as a Drafting Intern at GDOT. Roth joined the Stability Engineering team before his senior year and has since worked on residential, adaptive reuse and commercial projects while working with wood, masonry, steel and concrete. Roth has experience with gravity and lateral design as well as foundation, retaining and shoring wall design. In his downtime, Roth enjoys working in his woodshop and playing music between trips to the climbing gym.

Dragana Simon-Welch


Dragana has worked as a structural designer on a wide variety of project types.  Her training and background in architectural design has allowed Stability to expand its design software capabilities.  Dragana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from University of Belgrade.

Dejan Miljenovic


Dejan has provided structural design and inspection services for Stability Engineering on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects since 2013. His experience with installation and onsite monitoring has provided a background for site inspections and field work. Dejan has also helped to develop designs for wood, steel and masonry structures, including AutoCAD and REVIT drafting. Dejan is a graduate of the Technical College in Serbia.

Julie Coiron


Julie Coiron has served as accounting and business manager since the company’s origin.  She has set up the accounting and billing system, secured loans, and handled all areas of human resources and payroll.  She has researched, procured and effectively integrated Billquick and Quickbooks software as well as managed development of all marketing collateral. Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of New Orleans and a MS in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University.

Janette Brock


Janette has worked with Stability Engineering since 2013 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shorter University. Her 20+ years of experience prior to working with Stability includes work with homeless services and hospice organizations, corporate, and legal offices. She has also completed leadership training through the Buckhead Business Association. Her unique blend of experience provides a rare combination of abilities to the web marketing and office management operations, enhancing Stability’s capacity to provide exceptional service to our clients.
